SAME SEX
MARRIAGES
Same sex marriages
is the union
of people who are
of the same
gender and live
together as a family.
It was
not common in the traditional
setup but it has come
into an increase
in the modern
world. As same sex
marriages have negative
impact in the
society e.g. people
involved cannot bear
children, health risks, it is
condemned in the
bible as an
unlawful act and
have negative effect
on psychological of
children raise from
such parents and
the parents themselves
in the society.
Homosexuality
is an offence
in the Bible
as God hates
it. In Genesis 2:24
Therefore shall a
man leave his
father and mother, and
shall cleave unto
his wife : and they
shall be one
flesh.The Bible is stating
it clearly that
a marriage is
for different sex
and not the
same sex. As it is
written in Leviticus 20:13”Holy Bible”. If a
man also lie
with mankind, as he lieth with
a woman ,both of
them have committed
an abomination, they shall surely
be put to
death, their blood shall be
upon them. Same sex
marriages would introduce a
radical reform in
the basic institution
of marriage changing
long recognized cultural
values drastically. Same sex
marriages are not accepted
by some religious
orders and those
who accept them
are the new
religion which do
not follow the
original beliefs of the religion, in
the original there
was no religion
that believed same
sex marriages. Those involved
in same sex
marriages are not
offered positions in
many churches thus
are not involved
in the development
of the churches
by more souls
to God and
development of the
country through the
church. Traditionally there was
no believe in
same sex marriage
as it didn’t exist
only different sex
marriages existed.
Children need to
be raised by
their biological parents. In
same sex marriage
at least one parents
would be genetically
unrelated to the
child. Same sex marriages make
poor parents. The best
way to assure
that children get
the best possible
upbringing is to
require spouses to
be of different
genders. Some youths don’t
have good answers
in a confidential
manner or don’t
have factual, non judgemental
and clearly answers
about their parents, friends, siblings, or relatives
sexual orientation. The youths
cannot answer the
questions and can
bring the effect
of homophobia which
leads to increased
mental health issues
and depression Same sex
marriage is in
the best interest
of adult who
yearn for social
and legal recognition
of their unions, but
its not in
the best interest
of the children. Supporters of
same sex marriages
believe love is
all children really
need. Based on that
supposition, they conclude its
just as good
for children to
be raised by
loving parent of
the same sex, as
by loving parents
of opposite sex, but
that assumption is
naively simplistic and
denies the complex
nature and core
needs of human
beings.
Medical and psychology
research indicates that
children who grow
up without their
own married mother
and father in
the home face
significant disadvages in
all important measures
of their wellbeing, physical and
mental health, education attainment, general happiness, confidence and
empathy development as well
as protection from
poverty, substance abuse,
domestic violence and
sexual abuse and
avoidance of unmarried
child bearing. Health risks is
linked to sexual
behavior with same
gender partners, compared with
different gender sexual orientation.Same sex
couples that live
together report worse health than
people of the
same socioeconomic status
who are in
heterosexual marriages, according
to a national
study. They are not
accepted in the
society and they
seen been be
very immoral people
this greatly affects
them physochologically which
demolorizes them in
their living. Children in
same marriages have
many problems living
with other children
as they are
considered as immoral
like their parents
which makes them
start living alone
and even blame
and hate their
parents for the
problems they are
experiencing in living
with their friends. Also
parents who are of
different sex marriages
can prevent their
children from getting
involved with children
of same sex
marriages and thus
making them feel
rejected.
Same sex marriages
are not good
been in our
society as they
have many negative
effects and because
it already exists
it should be
eradicated with immediate
effect. For those who are
involved in it
should find counseling
from professional and
medical attention. For those
who are thinking
of starting should
stop thinking of how to
get started or
get partners to
get involve with
but should go
and ask for canceling to
know more about
it and its
effects to once
health and of
those around them. If
you know anyone
who is involved
in same sex
marriage don’t outcast
them but give
them advices about
its negative implication. The children
raised in many
same sex marriages
are affected psychologically which
can harm their
future lives and
destroy them completely
thus i advice
people not to
practice it at
all. We cannot reward such
behavior by allowing
gays and lesbians
to marry.
